Anna has worked at SSS as a housing outreach worker for just over a year now.  Prior to joining SSS, she was a case manager for an HIV agency where she worked one on one with clients and ran the community education program.  Anna holds her bachelor degree of Social Work from UBC and on her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her Boston Terrier, Molly.

 Hina has been at SSS since 2004.  As a housing counselor, her role is to provide information on various types of seniors housing options in the lower mainland.   Besides this, Hina also does community education to various agencies. In her spare time, Hina loves spending time with her family, volunteers at her church, loves to shop and loves bright colors.   If you didn’t know, Hina hates to travel.   
 

 Kelly began her journey with Seniors Services Society as a volunteer, then practicum student and finally as the Independent Living Coordinator.  She assists seniors in the New Westminster area to stay as independent, healthy and happy as possible.  In her spare time she enjoys riding her bike with her dog Sugar, gardening, and travelling to far off places through the books she reads.

 Lindsay - Housing Services Manager (Away on maternity leave). Lindsay oversees the busy Housing Department, and has been with SSS since September 2008. She previously worked at South Granville Seniors Centre. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and reading fiction. Lindsay is currently on maternity leave until summer 2012.

Denise – Financial Administrator at SSS does the accounting and financial reporting to the Funders.  In her spare time Denise has join the gym and is “trying” to get fit. Denise has 2 great kids, Brooke and Travis and a loving husband.

 Krista is the Manager of Support Services, including Meals on Wheels, Grocery Shopping, Tax Clinic, Dining and Lunch Clubs, and the Support Call Programs.  Originally from New Brunswick, Krista moved to British Columbia in 2007 to complete her Masters degree in Gerontology at Simon Fraser University. Krista enjoys animals, snowshoeing and curling in her spare time.

Erin is the Coordinator  of the Temporary Housing Program. She is responsible for the maintenance and growth of the THP, while helping her clients find permanent housing. Erin holds a BA in Psychology/Gerontology from Simon Fraser University. She spends her free time volunteering in Surrey and New Westminster, playing classical guitar, and cooking delicious food.

Dan is one of our bus drivers. His role is to pick up clients in the bus for social outings. Dan has made the trips very fun for the clients and we are happy to have him as a member of our team. Dan enjoys making people laugh.

 

Tracy is the Society’s Support Services Assistant and is responsible for ensuring that lunch and dining clubs are delivered in a responsible and safe manner. Tracy always has great feedback from clients and we are lucky to have her.

Glynn is a retired letter carrier and proud member of C.U.P.W now driving the bus for the lunch program at Seniors Services.He loves meeting the clients, walking his dog, Sylvia, photography and driving his motorcycle.

Sharon B. has been a volunteer with Seniors Services, off and on for the past 8 years, with both the Meals on Wheels and Dining Club programs. Sheis back again, driving the bus on a regular basis for the Dining Club and enjoying the opportunity to meet new people.  Sharon works as an Outreach Worker for Lookout Emergency Aid Society, advocating, supporting and helping house the homeless.
