Home Support - Services that are either purchased privately or provided through the Health Authority - personal care, meal preparation and housekeeping may be part of the services. See FAQ support page for more information.
Nursing Home - Nursing Homes are now called Residential Care facilities and more information on their services and how to access them can be found on Types of Housing.
Personal Care - Assistance with bathing, medication reminders, assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing etc. Personal Care services are sometimes provided through local Health Authority, see FAQ for more information.
RGI - Rent Geared to Income- housing charges are based on a percentage of ones gross monthly income. Generally this is 30% of gross monthly income.
Residential Care - 24 hour nursing services available either with a subsidy through the Health Authority or paid privately through Private Residential Care. See Types of Housing for more information.

Seniors - Generally the term Seniors applies to individuals over the age of 55 when talking about rent geared to income housing.
