The directory was created in response to older adults' direct requests about housing options. After speaking with thousands of older adults and defining their housing needs, we created categories of housing consistent with what the market offers.

How to Use the Seniors Housing Directory of BC

1. Identify your needs
   Before knowing what type of housing to search for you will need to think about your current and future housing needs. Careful planning will assist you greatly in making a successful move. Some moves can be avoided if you have access to the right information.
2. Search the directory on this Web site
   Read about the types of older adults housing available. After you understand what type of housing you are interested in, go to the directory Search page. On the search page you will be able to select the type of housing you are interested in and the location you are looking to live in.

Are You a Housing Provider?

Housing Providers who would like to list their housing in our directory and also on our website can do so by contacting our office at 604-520-6621 or . At this time there is no charge to be listed in our Seniors Housing Directory of BC.

Housing providers are required to complete a form that will include all the information listed in the directory. Based on the information provided the type of housing is determined. All housing listed as Assisted Living must be registered with the Assisted Living Registrar. For more information on this visit Housing FAQ.
