We welcomed three new board members at our June Annual General Meeting: Sneha Attili, Dr. Mandy Hansen, and Karen McDonald. They join Chair Jeff Tisdale, Vice Chair Naveed Nadri, Treasurer Mercedes Wong, Secretary Anna Smith, and Past Chair Brenda Southam in guiding SSSBC in delivering supports and housing navigation services to enhance the lives of seniors.

Sneha Attili Dr. Mandy Hansen Karen McDonald
Sneha Attili brings over a decade of expertise in the Canadian employee benefits industry, specializing in client services and benefits administration. Currently a senior client service representative at HUB International, she is skilled in managing benefits plans, building strong client relationships, and process optimization. Sneha holds an MBA and is certified in Group Benefits and Life Insurance. Outside of work, Sneha enjoys cooking, reading, family time and travelling. Mandy is the principal of Insight Specialty Consulting and has more than 25 years’ experience in management consulting, project management, and real estate strategy. Her experience within the public, private, and non-profit sectors allows for multiple perspectives and best-in-class approaches from each of these areas. She has led large-scale initiatives and transformational change on behalf of clients in the health care, social services, construction and real estate sectors. Karen is the principal of Heartwood Consulting Inc. She believes organizations can achieve a great deal by sharing the right story, with the right stakeholder, in the right time and place. Framing information into a compelling story or solution that resonates with specific stakeholders is her “superpower” as a communicator. She developed this skill over a 30+ year career in communications and government relations, across the non-profit, co-operative, corporate and government sectors.

Also at our AGM, we said a fond farewell to former Treasurer Anthony Kupferschmidt and thanked him for his service.
